We created a whole new brand look for this Portuguese sports network, helping it to stand out in a crowded marketplace with a clear, bold and consistent identity.
Developing a brand essence “the stage of sport” we aimed to give the network a clear and consistent place in the market. Our design theme conveyed this idea through a central yellow ring device and a graphic style arena while the main ident evoked the adrenalin-rush of top competition. In other on-screen elements we used abstract sections of the ring and a yellow and black colour palette to strengthen the overall brand presence.
We worked closely with the Sport TV team in Portugal to ensure a smooth transition to the updated identity. The client loves the brand’s new look, and it’s played a big part in helping the network develop its HD offer.
