We’ve worked closely with BBC Sport since designing its comprehensive re-brand back in 2006. Our solution then, was based on the thought that if it matters we highlight it - hence our choice of yellow as the key brand colour.
More recently, we’ve updated the brand to fully embrace HD and to prepare for major sporting events. Our aim here was to position BBC Sport as the primary home for this content, creating a halo effect that would drive kudos and value back to the brand.
The new graphics celebrate the quality of the HD experience with dynamic animations and high value reflective surfaces, giving the brand a more sophisticated and glossy feel.
